Soma

Tenet EC, Tampines, Singapore

Soma draws from its Greek meaning “body” positioning space itself as a living form. In this design approach, interiors are stripped to their essence, where proportion, light, and material create a holistic “body” that feels both grounding and elevated.

Designed for a couple and their beloved pet, the home balances individual routines with shared living. Despite its compact footprint, thoughtful spatial planning creates dedicated zones for work, personal interests, rest, and connection, allowing each space to serve a distinct purpose while maintaining a cohesive flow throughout the home.

Materiality plays a defining role in shaping the character of the interior. Every wall has been intentionally treated through the use of textured paints, bespoke wallpapers, and slim wall panels, bringing depth and character to the space. Metallic laminates further enrich the home, adding visual interest while maintaining a cohesive and balanced aesthetic.

A layered lighting approach enhances both atmosphere and experience. Natural light accentuates the richness of materials throughout the day, decorative fixtures introduce character and visual interest, while ambient lighting creates warmth and comfort as the home transitions from day to night.

Together, these elements shape a home that feels balanced, personal, and enduring.
