Tonal

Costa Rhu, Tanjong Rhu, Singapore

TONAL takes its name from the subtle shifts in colour and texture that define the home. A palette of muted neutrals, warm wood finishes and marble-veined tiles forms the foundation of its contemporary character. Rather than relying on bold contrasts, the design explores how materials, proportions and details can work together to create depth within a restrained palette.

Clean lines, warm wood finishes and soft neutral tones define the living spaces. Textured paint, wallpapers and curated art pieces add depth and personality, while integrated lighting enhances the home’s contemporary character.

Storage is seamlessly integrated through full-height cabinetry and open timber shelving, balancing everyday function with space for personal collections. In the bedrooms, built-in wardrobes and dedicated workspaces make efficient use of the available space.

The bathrooms introduce deeper tones and bolder marble-veined tiles, softened by warm woodgrain cabinetry and contemporary fittings. In the master ensuite, a custom-designed dresser creates a quiet corner for daily rituals, complemented by warm finishes and soft lighting.

Throughout TONAL, simplicity, functionality and materiality come together to create a contemporary home that feels cohesive, comfortable and effortless to live in.
